I’m sure most parents are familiar with Melissa & Doug toys. They are educational and unique toys for children of all ages. My daughter has a few of their wooden puzzles and the wooden blocks and loves them. I also love them since they are GREAT quality items. I know I am getting my moneys worth when I purchase anything Melissa & Doug.
I was given the chance to review their Froggy Toss & Grip game from the Sunny Patch collection. If you aren’t familiar with the Sunny Patch collections it has everything from bubbles to beach toys that you’ll want for summer!

My toddler loves her new Froggy Toss & Grip Game. She is love anything with balls, especially if she can throw them at me. This teaches her not only to toss them, but to try and get them into the mouth (red area) of the frog. They teach throwing, catching, and hand/eye coordination. The frog fits nicely on her hand and has an adjustable strap that you can loosen or tighten the catcher depending on the hand size of the person using it. The balls sticks every time it hits the red area and doesn’t bounce off like similar toys. They are lightweight, which is nice for little hands and it’s small enough to fit into a backpack or tote bag for a trip to the beach, lake, or park!
My daughter doesn’t fully grasp “strap to your hand & catch the ball” so she likes to hold it or put it on the ground. I’ve also propped it up against the couch or on a chair so she can practice throwing the ball into the mouth of the frog. It’s a work in progress, but she is getting it and has a blast trying.
