My World Market Inspired Dining Room #WorldMarketSweeps

I never got around to decorating our apartment when we moved in over a year ago. It was the last thing on my mind while we were getting settled in and adjusted to living in a new city. Lately I have been on a decorating frenzy. I couldn’t take the plain apartment anymore and have been decorating one room at a time. We’ve done the bathrooms, our bedroom, and our daughter’s room but left on the list is the living room and dining room.

I decided to do some online browsing for dining room decor. I really want to spruce up our dark colored dining room table set and give it some color and what other place to shop then at Cost Plus World Market?? I love shopping at world market because they have such colorful home decor and it’s all cute!!

I love this table runner. It’s bright and colorful and would give my table some much needed life. I didn’t want to do the matching place mats and napkins because I felt like it was too much of the same pattern, so I took colors from the runner and used solids colors for place mats, napkins, and dishes. The lantern would be a final touch to give the table a little extra something…
