BeginAgain Toys – BuddyBlocks Review & Giveaway!

BeginAgain Toys is an imaginative toy company based out of Fort Collins, Colorado. It is their goal to inspire children with stories of invention, adventure, and good old-fashioned fun. BeginAgain Toys are electric and battery free and they use plant based materials to build their toys whenever possible. They offer toys for ages 6 months and up!

When I was contacted by BeginAgain Toys I was beyond thrilled. I love working with Colorado based companies and I love providing my children with quality toys that with spark their imagination. I was sent the BuddyBlocks Safari and Farm sets for review. They are from the Beginner products that BeginAgain offers.

A great first block set that grows with your child! Each 4-piece block forms 6 different puzzles featuring colorful animals. Toddlers will enjoy stacking and puzzle plays as they develop. Buddy Blocks are the perfect introduction to puzzles. Sized for little hands, the 1 1/4″ blocks are earth friendly and a delight to hold. Comes with storage tray for easy clean up. Mult -Stage toy: Grows with your child’s needs.

Made from natural Rubber wood and perfect for ages 18 mo+

The BuddyBlocks have a classic feel and they look like something that was made in grandpa’s workshop. They are good quality, durable, and spark my toddlers imagination. One of my 2 year old’s favorite things to do is play with puzzles. She can usually complete a new puzzle (in her age group) within a couple minutes, so I was hoping the buddyblocks would be more of a challenge for her. A challenge they are! She received the buddyblocks and started putting them together instantly. She got all the pieces in the correct corners, but she still hasn’t figure out how to line them up properly. The monkey usually has an upside down head and a tale coming out the side of his head, or some other weird line up. It’s pretty funny seeing what she will come up with next, but it is a learning experience for her and I am glad that these are a little more challenging her for.

The blocks are the perfect size for my toddlers little hands, not too big and not too small. The colors are a nice match for the animals. I did notice that the paint looks like it’s chipping or wearing off on some blocks, but I like that. To me it gives it the “made in a workshop” feel. I haven’t notice any paint wearing off from my daughter playing with them, which is nice.  The box that holds the blocks is sturdy, not heavy, and has a nice weave design on the sides.

All in All we are very happy with our BuddyBlocks. My daughter plays with them often and has fun putting the puzzles together. They are good quality and are great for imaginative and creative play. They would be a nice addition to any child’s puzzle collection.

BuddyBlocks are available on Amazon.com for just $12.99 each.
