I think it’s safe to say Toddlers love arts & crafts. I know my toddler loves coloring, painting, and anything to do with arts & crafts so when we received the Alex Toys: Tots Art Start she immediately wanted to play with it. The Tots Art Start is an art kit for toddlers that contains: 2 pre-printed paper frames and 3 first crayons for scribbling, paper giraffe and tree with tons of stickers and 2 crack and peel collage boards with lots of doilies, tissue, fringe and crepe papers.
We opened up the Tots Art Start kit and my toddler got to work making pictures and collages. I love that glue or other messy items aren’t involved. The Collage boards have a sticky section that you peel paper off of and your child can stick items to the collage. The sticky section has a nice stick to it and we didn’t have any issues with items falling off.
I think my toddlers favorite part was the two sheets of stickers the kit comes with. She loves stickers and had so much fun putting them on all of her pictures, especially decorating the giraffe cutout. My favorite part is no messes to clean up or worry about. It’s a great art kit for kids 18+ months old, is very age appropriate, and a great way to get your child involved in art projects!
