A few weeks back I was invited to attend a tour of the NEW Whole Foods location in Littleton, Colorado. Governor’s Ranch to be precise. When I went they were still putting the finishing touches on the store, but it looked great. It was nice getting a detailed tour of the store and how they work. They use lots of local Colorado companies and farms for their products which was nice to learn.
Not only did we get to tour the store and meet local vendors, but we also got to taste test some of their yummy goodies. Such as fresh and organic vegetables, fresh and farm raised meat, organic foods, and the best part was the fresh out of the oven peppermint brownies. Some of my favorite features of the store was the beautiful park built by a local Colorado company, knowing that the store is stocked with local, organic, and good for you foods, and I really loved the recycled wall in the produce section made out of old onion crates.
It was fun checking out the new store, learning about it, meeting local vendors, and testing their yummy foods. If you live in or around Littleton, Colorado then you must check out the new Whole Foods location!

I love the organic foods and finding unusual foods that are not carried in regular supermarkets.
My favorite thing is even thought it is more expensive than standard stores, BUT they accept store and manufacturer coupons.
I love their bulk organic options beans, etc.

I think it is safe to say Whole Foods has changed my life!! Not just my eating habits. Since a Whole Foods moved near me, they’ve become the diadem of our community (West Hartford). I can’t say my favorite food item, I have soo many, but right now I’ve been enjoying their shrimp and salmon. Plus dates and cashews from the bin. I also discovered a really good carrot juice from Columbia Gorge – the best of the best. What I like, too, are their classes, for instance, several on cheese, coupons & saving, all kinds of things! Their contests are fun. They give to the community all the time. I LUV Whole Foods. I like to “adventure” through the store, trying new things all the time, and I was always into healthy foods, but Whole Foods has made it FUN!!!
