Between TV Commercials and Friends on Facebook talking about the new Lay’s flavors, I’ve heard a lot about them. I haven’t had the pleasure of trying them, but it’s definitely something on my to do list. Lay’s launched a campaign called “Do Us a Flavor” where fans could submit what they think should be the next Lay’s flavor. The 3 finalists are Cheesy Garlic Bread, Sriracha, Chicken & Waffles and Doritos – Jacked Ranch Dipped Hot Wings.
Frito Lay has launched a new Free For All Event in anticipation for the new chip flavors. Kroger shoppers across the country can take snacking to a whole new level by sampling some of the newest, boldest and most innovative Frito-Lay products, while supplies last. Their newest in-store event is on March 15, 4 to 8 p.m. local time – where Frito-Lay and Kroger will give away approximately 2.4 million sample bags of the most flavorful Frito-Lay products to hit store shelves in recent months. You will have the chance to taste:
- Bold, amped up Doritos Jacked Ranch Dipped Hot Wings flavored tortilla chips, which are 40 perfect bigger and thicker than regular Doritos chips.
- All three finalists in the Lay’s “Do Us a Flavor” promotion – Chicken and Waffles, Sriracha and Cheesy Garlic Bread flavored potato chips.

I tried the chicken and waffles and it was disgusting sorry but it was! I MAY try the garlic cheesy bread one. Not sure yet.
All seem to have gotten consistent reviews…cheesy garlic is the palatable one as per FAcebook. I would still like to try the nasty chicken and waffles though!

I’ve only tried the Chicken and Waffles chips, and while I think they are kind of fun, I won’t buy them again. I’m thinking the Sriracha ones will be my favorite.
