Elmo, it’s a household name, a kid favorite character, and he brings joy to those around him. I’ve loved Elmo since I was a kid and I remember the big Tickle Me Elmo craze in the 90’s. At the time he was the hottest toy out there and I had to have one. And I got one and I loved it. I’m pretty sure my Tickle Me Elmo is still in my moms house somewhere and I have fond memories of the joy Tickle me Elmo brought me. Over the years there have been various Elmo toys released, but Playskool recently came out with the Playskool’s Sesame Street Play All Day Elmo toy and it’s been a big hit. It was on every HOT toy list for 2015 and moms in some groups I’m in were searching stores for it because Elmo is a pretty big deal. We’ve have Play All Day Elmo for a few months now and he’s brought our toddle so much fun and joy, that I can only hope when he grows up he’ll have fond memories of playing with Elmo too.
Playskool’s Sesame Street Play All Day Elmo toy is perfect for any child ages 18 months to 3 years has 2 modes of play to encourage both younger and older children to have hours of endless fun. In Toddler mode, your little one can enjoy basic cause-and-effect play, like tickling Elmo or squeezing his nose to see how Elmo will respond. Hint: There’s usually a classic Elmo giggled involved.
In Preschool mode, preschoolers can take play to the next level with games and activities that they play with Elmo. They can play pat-a-cake, wiggle and giggle through a round of freeze dance, stop and go with a game of “Red Light Green Light,” and so much more. When your little one is ready for a nap with a squeeze of Elmo’s nose, he can play a soft lullaby with gentle music and a second squeeze of Elmo’s nose will make him play a soothing instrumental lullaby to lull your toddler to sleep.
Elmo remains to be a favorite toy in our home and I even see our 5 month old smiling when Elmo start singing and talking.
