Football. It’s a big deal in my family. I grew up with my uncles huddled around the TV on Sundays and The Big Game, it’s a big deal for any football lover. Sundays are football, and snacks, and family time. There’s yelling, sometimes arguing, but most of all there is yummy food and drinks during game time. With one of the biggest games coming up next week I’m starting to think about what we’ll be having to eat that day and Nacho Taco Cups sound like the perfect meal.
Tacos and Nachos are a family favorite so I figured I would combine them for a delicious game day treat. Flavorful taco meat made with TOSTITOS® Medium Chunky Salsa and Queso pair perfectly in TOSTITOS® Scoops for bite size nacho cups. Assemble the nacho cups and let your guests top their nacho cups with their favorite nacho toppings for a fun meal. Simple. Flavorful. and Easy.
For the nacho cups you’ll brown your meat of choice, I use ground turkey (but chicken and beef are also great options), and drain it. Add a packet of taco seasoning, 1/2 a cup of TOSTITOS® Medium Chunky Salsa, and 1 can of drained black beans. Mix well and simmer for a few minutes. Once the meat mixture is done you’ll start to prepare your nacho cups by placing TOSTITOS® Scoops on a baking sheet and adding some of the meat mixture to the scoops. Top with a dollop of TOSTITOS® queso and put them in the oven for a few minutes to warm up. You’ll want to do these just before it’s time to eat so they don’t sit out for too long and get soggy.
Once your nacho cups are ready to serve, set them out with a variety of nacho toppings like guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, olives, lettuce, or whatever else your guests might like and let everyone dress up their nachos to their liking.
I also like to have some sweet treats around for everyone and candy is always an easy solution and a crowd pleaser. I pick up a few party size bags of our favorite candy from Walmart, where I get all of my game time items. The hubby loves SNICKERS® and everyone has something sweet to end the game with.
I have lunch and a sweet treat covered, but for drinks, Pepsi™ is always a good choice with nachos. They pair together perfectly during game time. I was lucky that when I walked into Walmart to do some shopping they had most of my game time items in a huge display. Pepsi™, TOSTITOS®, and SNICKERS® were at arms reach.
Another fun option for game day is snack stadiums and Walmart has a variety of ideas for them and you can vote for your favorite snack stadium. When you vote for your favorite snack stadium you also enter the #gamedayglorysweepstakes where you’ll have a chance to win a $100 Walmart eGift card or Xbox One.
Whether you’re feeding a small crowd or large, Nacho Taco cups are an easy, filling, and fun game time meal that any taco or nacho lover will enjoy! What’s your favorite nacho topping?

I love those taco cups. The yum of tacos with the ease of nachos and the curved cup chip helps with keeping it less messy -- sounds like a game win to me! Great idea. Hope you have a wonderful game day! :-) Traci

Those turned out so cute. Perfect for the big game. I know my husband would love them. Also, those game day stadiums are so crazy! I am not that creative at all!
