Sharing is caring!
Easter is just around the corner and candy is a staple item in Easter Baskets, especially anything with jelly beans or egg shaped! I know they are in our Easter Baskets and I love that some of our favorite candy brands such as butterfinger, crunch, and wonka candy have fun Easter options. They’re perfect for stuffing into eggs that the kids will hunt for, fun recipes, adding to a basket, and of course just to eat!
I’m loving the bright and fun packaging. It really stands out and screams “pick me for your Easter candy!!”
I knew I would add some of the candy to the kids Easter baskets and stuff into their eggs for a fun egg hunt, but I also wanted to to create something delicious with the candy. When I saw the Jelly Bean Bark I knew it would be a hit with the kids and luckily I had everything I needed on hand to make it!
Jelly Bean Bark
Ingredients:
Jelly Beans (any flavor)
1 Package Candy Melts
Directions:
Line a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper. Add candy melts to microwave safe bowl and microwave on 30 second and stir and then for 10-15 increments, stirring in between each one, until candy melts are melted. Pour candy melts onto lined baking sheet and spread evenly, about 1/4″ thick. Top with jelly beans. Put in fridge for 10 minutes or until firm. Once firm, remove from fridge, break into chunks, and store in air tight container.
We used the Laffy Taffy Jelly Beans from Wonka Candy in our bark and it was delicious!! The jelly beans taste just like laffy taffy and my daughter loved it!
All of the candies are Easter Basket perfect and delicious. They’re sure to please any child or adult and available where Easter candy is sold.
