The Squawkin’ Egg-Droppin’ Hen is pretty straight forward. She comes with 3 colorful Easter eggs that you drop in the hole on her upper back (under her scarf), you hit the “press here” button, and she starts singing, squawkin’, and laying eggs. The eggs take a couple seconds to drop out, but once they do they sent the toddler into fits of laughter and screeches of “do it again!!”

My only complaint about the Squawkin’ Egg-Droppin’ Hen is that there is no mute button. As a mom, listening to the “Squawk there it is” song on repeat for an hour can get to be annoying. If I could put it on mute, but my toddler could still play with it, it would be a winning situation for all involved. Regardless of the repeats, it’s a super cute hen and my toddler LOVES it. I also find myself walking around singing “Squawk there it is” since it’s a cute song. It’s the perfect addition to any home and kids are sure to love it.
