School Zone – Preschool Play & Learn Kit!

Sharing is caring!

School Zone sent me products for review purposes. All opinions are 100% my own!

When I was growing up I remember using School Zone workbooks and flash cards, so it only made sense that once my kids were old enough to use their products that I would buy them. My son also used the workbooks and loved them and now that my toddler is old enough she’ll be getting some too. With summer here School Zone products are a great way to keep your kids learning when they’re away from school. School Zone has been in business for over 30 years and is the leading maker for workbooks, flash cards, and software tools for children ages 3 – 12. Their products make learning easy, fun, and perfect for on the go.

School Zone Preschool Puzzles

School Zone sent my toddler the Preschool Play & Learn set that comes with peg puzzles, a jungle chat, and games and activities. They help to encourage build developmental skills, math, language arts, following directions, thinking, beginning reading, and mixing and matching.

With the Jungle Chat she can use her imagination to create stories, learn rhyming, and learn beginning reading. Each story card has different animals and tells a story that she can try to read, or make up her own story and on the back they have fun facts.

There are two sets of peg learning cards/puzzles. Colors & Shapes and then Busy People. The puzzle cards help with fine motor skills, recognition, and visual perception. With each of the cards they have a task she needs to do, like putting the green circle in a certain place. Once she is done we like to talk about the cards – what’s going on in the picture and if she notices anything familiar. I think these cards were her favorite since she is a huge puzzle fan.

The last set in the box is the write and reuse – games and activities. This set comes with 8 cards, spinner, timer, 2 dry-erase markers, 2 vinyl sticker sheets, and a parent guide. This set helps to teach math, language arts, following directions, thinking skills, and beginner reading. With this set there are different games you can play most of them being 2 players. The games were fun for the toddler and I often find her asking to play them.

I love how each set comes in it’s own box and that they all fit into a plastic bag so there is a place to keep them all. They’re perfect for traveling and easily fit into any bag or backpack, plus there isn’t a million pieces to lose.  All in All – the toddler loves everything in the set and loves playing with them and I plan on bringing them on our upcoming vacation so she has something to do while we’re on the plane!
