Over this past weekend I was given an amazing opportunity to host a fashion event with JCPenney, at Parkmeadows, for Mother’s Day. The weekend was all about Pinterest worthy styles for mom, from head to toe, that are comfortable, stylish, and easy to do. JCPenney is a one stop shop for mom and as a busy mom of 4 I know all about the importance of one stop shopping. With JCPenney you can get fashion for the whole family, items for your home, pick up some beauty items at the Sephora located inside of JCPenney, and visit their InStyle salon for a spring makeover.
During my weekend with JCPenney we showcased some pin worthy fashion that is perfect for Mother’s Day coming up, showed some stylish hair tutorials with the InStyle salon, and did a smokey eye makeup tutorial and lip tips with Sephora inside of JCPenney. Braids are a HOT hair trend right now and they showed 2 fun braid styles that you (mom) can accomplish in a few quick steps and a matter of minutes. Each style is fun and can be worn from heading into the office, running around with the kids, or for a night on the town. As a mom I know our time is precious and these styles can be done in under 10 minutes, but will leave you feeling put together and stylish.
Also during the event the InStyle salon located inside of JCPenney had a braiding booth and it was very popular. They were there giving out free braids for the day. They were doing such cute styles that even I had to get in on the action, so I sat down and let them give me a fun style. I tend to forget that JCPenney has a hair salon, but after talking with the girls there about some things I want to do with my hair, I’ll be heading in real soon for a fun new color. We also had a lifesize and interactive Pinterest board where users could check out JCPenney style tips and fashion ideas on their Pinterest page. They had outfit and accessory ideas on display and there was even a spot for people to stop and take pictures.
Every hour our models came onto stage in their stylish outfits from JCPenney and they’re the perfect amount of comfortable, stylish, and affordable. As a mom, chasing after kids all day, I want my fashion to be stylish and comfortable. JCPenney delivers in that department and they make it easy for shoppers to find these outfits by having them on display. They’re marked with a Pinterest P so they’re easy to located in store. All of the looks are perfect for running around with the kids, heading out to brunch with the family, or going to work. They can be dressed up or down, with a swap of accessories.
As for what I wore, I took full advantage of the stylish JCPenney clothing and wore 2 styles that were comfortable and stylish. On day one I wore a Chevron Maxi Dress with sandals. Flowy, comfortable, and perfect for heading out to brunch with my family on Mother’s Day.
On day two I went more comfortable, but still stylish with leggings, a long tops, flats, and a chunky necklace. Pair it with a flowy cardigan and it’s perfect for a day out with the family or for running errands.
With Mother’s Day coming up this weekend treat mom to a new outfit from JCPenney, a new do from the InStyle salon located inside of JCPenney, and a mini makeover (they’re free for Mother’s Day) from Sephora inside of JCPenney. Or if you’re mom, treat yourself to all of this by visiting your local JCPenney. If you’re in Denver I suggest visiting the location inside of Parkmeadows mall. I had a blast hosting this fun event and meeting some of the lovely associates from the JCPenney located in Parkmeadows mall. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, and so friendly.

JC Penney has a great selection of outfits this season. I love the variety for all different styles. I have two different events to attend at the end of May so I will be heading there soon.

I was thinking I was needing to take my daughter to JC penny to get some new spring styles. These are nice and bright styles.

What a fun event! I especially love the braiding booth! I recently lost a lot of weight (30lbs and counting) so I really need new spring and summer mom clothes :)
