As a mom of 3 I love things that make my life easier and are convenient. I’ve talked about it a lot, but I’m all about sharing things that can make mom life easier, are hassle free, and help minimize child meltdowns in stores. Without fail one of my kids is always hungry, tired, or doesn’t want to be in the store and I end up being THAT mom. You know, the one with a fussing kid. So getting in and out of a store in a timely fashion is a must for me. With my kids being back in school it’s a little easier to shop now that I only have 1 kid with me during the day, but on the days where I have all 3 kids apps like Sam’s Club Scan & Go is a lifesaver!
I first discovered Sam’s Clubs Scan & Go app around the holidays last year. It’s free to download and use and all you need to do is log into your sam’s club account and have an active membership. When you head into your local Sam’s Club you connect to their wifi so that it knows you’re in the store and you can use the app to scan everything you’re buying with your phone. When you’re done you pay via the app, skip all the lines (because those are another tantrum inducing thing), and walk to the exit where they scan the bar code on your phone and check you out. It’s so easy to use that even my kids have fun doing it and it helps to keep them occupied in the store.
I’m at Sam’s Club weekly and I buy a lot of our household and food items there as well as fill up my car. The prices are great and since we are a family of 5 the bulk packages are perfect for us. I recently was there 2 days in a row because I did our shopping and the realized I forgot to buy diapers. Since Sam’s Club is running a promotion with Pampers I knew they were the best place to get diapers for our youngest.
If you’re looking to make your Sam’s Club trips quick and easy I highly recommend downloading the Scan & Go app. It’s a total game changer when it comes to shopping in store!

This is a pretty nice idea. I can't wait to see what else Sam's Club and other retail outlets do with this idea.

I wonder if Costco has an app like this. I don't shop at Sam's Club.

This sounds amazing, but I'm curious to know if the app scans coupons?
