If you were able to join us for the Munchkin event, THANK YOU, it was a big success at Real Baby and so many mamas and their babies came out. At one point the store was totally packed and being able to learn about Munchkin’s new bottle The Latch, exploring Real Baby, and getting info from lactation consultant Marianne Kmak all made for a fun afternoon. If you weren’t able to join us The Latch bottle will be available in store in a few weeks, but if you’re in Denver Real Baby already has them stocked and ready to sell.
The Latch bottle was designed for breastfeeding moms to help transitioning between breast and bottle easier for moms. We’ve been using it for a couple weeks and I’m really liking the new bottle. There aren’t too many complicated parts to put together, it’s light weight so little man can hold it on his own (when he decides too), we have no issues with leaks, and I’ve noticed a decreased in nipple confusion and gas compared to other bottles we were using. I also like that it’s easy to clean, but make sure you remember to put the valve back in the bottle before pouring breast milk in it. Don’t be like me and pour the milk in and then have it all over the counter and floor, oooops!
This is one of my new favorite bottles and something I’d recommend to any breastfeeding mama looking for a good bottle to use! You can learn more about the Latch bottle via the Munchkin website. The Latch bottle is available for pre-order on Amazon with a release date of May 1st! Available in 4 and 8 ounce sizes!

This would make a great baby shower gift for a new mom to try out and see if this bottle works for baby. I love the design!
