I shopped savvy using Walmart Saving Catcher, as part of a sponsored post for Crowdtap #WMTSavingsCatcher.
Walmart is my number one place to shop due to their low prices and now I have another reason to shop there thanks to their Savings Catcher program. Walmart’s Savings Catcher is a new program that checks local competitors to see if they have a lower advertised price, if they do you get an eGift Card for the difference. The app is free to download and super simple to use.
After you go shopping at Walmart keep your receipt and use the app to scan the bar code on it (within 7 days) or you can enter your TC# in via the Walmart Savings Catcher website. Savings Catcher hen compares the prices of competitors printed ads in the area and if they find a lower price you get the difference deposited onto an e-giftcard in your account that you can use at Walmart and Walmart.com. The app takes up to 3 days to compare prices and will notify via email once it’s done. You can then log into the app and view the details of your receipt and your savings, if you have any.
Unfortunately I didn’t rack up any additional savings on our most recent shopping trip, but I’m happy knowing I got the best deal during my Walmart shopping trip. I’m always looking for ways to save money and have several different apps to help me maximize my savings while shopping. I’m happily adding the Walmart Savings Catcher app to my lineup of money saving apps. The money I save comes in handy for family trips, birthdays, and holidays.

I have used the Savings Catcher and have saved money. I need to remember to check my receipts more often. I think that this is a good deal that Walmart is doing for their shoppers.

I am really excited about this. I have been entering my receipts since this started. I don't always get a lot back, but every little bit helps!
