A special thanks to Socialstars and Playskool for sponsoring this post and allowing us to play and learn with their new toys! #PLAYSKOOLCREW
Toys and kids are like a match made in heaven and my kids LOVE their toys. Both of my younger kids are always playing with a toy and I love how they fit into our daily lives, encourage creative and imaginative play, and keep them entertained. We have a variety of toys and one kind of toy I like to keep around is something that is compact, travels well, and can keep my littlest one entertained when we’re traveling or out and about. We recently learned about two new toys that are little kid approved and travel friendly from Playskool.
The first new toy is the Fold ‘n Go Busy Elephant which easily folds up and fits into our diaper bag, my purse, and easily attaches to a stroller. The Fold ‘n Go Busy Elephant is washable, which is something I really look for in toys because kids are messy. If it gets dirty you can simply put it in a pillowcase and put it in the washing machine to clean it and you don’t have to worry about your kid playing with a dirty, stained toy or having to try and spot clean it. It has 7 activities in 1, is perfect for tummy time and beyond, and has lots of fun colors, textures and sounds for your child to explore. While this one is geared more towards babies our 20 month old loves playing with it and has fun things in the pocket and using the little mirror to ogle over himself (yes, he’s at that age where starting at himself in the mirror is exciting).
We also go to check out the new Stack ‘n Stow Cups which became a household favorite between our 20 month old and even our 5 year old was caught playing with them. They’ve made a permanent home in our diaper bag and they’re perfect for playing while on the go and at the park. The Stack ‘n Stow Cups come in 7 colorful cups and feature fun cut-out shapes to help teach shapes and colors, so you’re little one is also learning in the process of playing. Plus they encourage stacking and nesting which is great for fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination and they save space by nesting the cups together and locking securely inside the base.
Our diaper bag is always stocked with snacks, books, and even a tablet to keep the kids entertained while we’re traveling or out, but I love that I have a few new toys I can put in our bag to keep the kids entertained. I would much rather have them playing hands on with a toy and using their imagination vs. watching a movie and the Playskool Fold ‘n Go Busy Elephant and Stack ‘n Stow Cups are perfect for that. Being able to fold or stack them together and toss easily toss them in my bag, without them taking up a lot of space, is a wonderful thing!

My kids are getting bigger now but we use to have so many playskool toys at the house when they were young.
