When I had our oldest daughter our family showered us with gifts for her and at our baby shower they threw a diaper raffle. If you aren’t familiar with a diaper raffle it’s when guests bring a package or box of diapers and for each one they bring they get a raffle ticket to win a prize. It was a small baby shower, but we were set with diapers for the first 6 months and it was great being able to walk into the garage and grab a new pack vs. having to go to the store and buy them. When we had our other 2 babies we weren’t showered with gifts (and that’s ok), so I started planning ahead of time and stocked up on diapers while I was pregnant. I built up a good supply and it helped in the weeks after our babies were born that I didn’t have to worry about running to the store to buy more. I know not every is that fortunate though.
