Let’s Go Places with the Toyota Land Cruiser: The Colorado Rockies Game!

Thank you to Toyota for loaning us a Land Cruiser for a week and inviting us to attend a Colorado Rockies Game. #LetsGoPlaces

Summer is all about exploring and we did just that with the Toyota Land Cruiser. As a family of 5 we’re a big SUV type of family and the Toyota Land Cruiser was a great fit for us. Spacious, Comfortable, and stylish. It’s packed full of awesome features like a drink cooler (which is awesome during the hot summer months), GPS to help us get to where we’re going, lots of cargo space, seating for up to 8, and great safety features like blind spot detection and back up cameras/sensors. Being a mom of 3 kids in car seats I was able to get 3 car seats across the middle room with no issue!

Toyota invited us to attend a local Colorado Rockies game with them in the AT&T suite to celebrate Father’s Day and that was a fun adventure we just couldn’t pass up. I’m not a huge sports fan, but there is some magic to be had when you attend a live sports game. Mingling with friends, like Dave Taylor and his daughters from GoFatherHood.com and Aimee & Bryan Giese from Greeblehaus.com, meeting Paige from Toyota, eating hot dogs and cracker jacks, and watching multiple home runs take place. 

Our younger 2 kids have never been to a baseball game and it’s been several years since we attended one, so we were long over due to head to Coors Field for a night of fun. Toyota really spoiled us. They gave us passes to park in Lot C, which we had a difficult time finding because the road to access it is closed off on game days. Lot C is pretty amazing because it’s right across the street from the stadium. I’ve never parked so close to an event before and going to future games just won’t be the same. We got out of the car, walked across the street, and were right at the entrance. Then we got to sit in a suite, which I’ve also never been in. No long lines for food or the bathroom and the perfect view, it was truly something special and our family had so much fun.

We went to an evening game and it was the perfect day. Not too hot with a slight breeze, the sound of fans cheering on their favorite teams (it was between the Rockies and Mets), and that all too familiar sound of the ball cracking against the bat. We got to enjoy some fun family time and watch the Rockies kick butt.

Then we got to head home in our comfortable Land Cruiser. LED lighting paved the way home giving us the perfect amount of brightness on the road, GPS got us home without a hitch, climate control kept us comfortable, SiriusXM let sweet tunes flow through the SUV, and leather seats kept us comfortable after a long day out. The ride was so smooth that all 3 little ones passed out shortly after leaving the park.

We weren’t headed on any off-road adventures (I’ll save that for another time), but I know that if we were the Toyota Land Cruiser would have made the trip effortlessly since it’s equipped with off-roading capabilities and 4 wheel drive. 

If you’re in the market for a new SUV give the Toyota Land Cruiser a spin. It will be great for those snowy Colorado winters and perfect for outdoors in the summer.
