Air Fryer Halloween Donuts
Air Fryer donuts are so easy to make. All you need is a can of biscuits, a can of frosting, cooking spray, and sprinkles. Air Fryer donuts are great because they’re healthier than deep frying donuts in lots of oil, they cook quickly, and the kids can even help make them. Kids can cut out the centers, place them in the air fryer basket, frost them, and decorate them. When kids are cooking in the kids make sure to always supervise them.
In addition to the donuts, you can use the centers to make donut holes and have mini monster donuts. Air Fryer Halloween donuts are an easy breakfast or snack for kids to enjoy. The best part is you can customize them however you want with different colored frosting, sprinkles, and candy eyes.
What Air Fryer to Use
You can use any air fryer that you have, but I love my Cosori Air Fryer.
What Canned Biscuit Dough to Use for Air Fryer Donuts
Any canned biscuit dough will work. I like the flaky layers, crescent sheets, or buttermilk biscuits, but use what your family likes. You could even use canned pizza dough!
What Canned Frosting to Use for Air Fryer Donuts
I prefer the Pilsbury frosting, but you can use any flavor or color of your choice. You can buy the frosting in fun colors or you can add gel food coloring to the vanilla frosting and color it yourself. I prefer gel food coloring since it makes the frosting less runny.
As far as sprinkles go you’ll want some candy eyes and any sprinkles of your choosing. You can use plain colors or Halloween shapes. For the eyes, you can use one size or get the different sizes and give your monsters different-sized eyes. I always keep this variety pack of candy eyes on hand. These Monster Sprinkles would be perfect and they come with candy eyes. If you buy the Pilsbury Green Halloween frosting it comes with sprinkles and candy eyes.
How to Make Air Fryer Halloween Donuts
To make your Air Fryer Donuts you’re going to need:
- 1 Can of Biscuits
- Cooking Spray
- Halloween Funfetti Frosting
- Candy Eyes & Sprinkles, optional depending on the frosting you buy.
Here’s how you’ll make your Air Fryer Donuts
Pre-heat air fryer to 350 degrees.
Cut a circle out of the centers of the biscuits. I like to use these round cookie cutters to cut out the centers.
Lightly spray the biscuits with cooking spray on both sides.
Place in the air fryer for 4-6 minutes or until biscuits have browned.
Remove from air fryer and transfer to a cooling rack. Let cool.
You don’t want to apply the frosting while the donuts are warm or the frosting will turn into more of a glaze and your sprinkles and candy eyes could melt off. However, if you aren’t adding candy eyes and sprinkles you can frost them while warm to create a glaze. I like doing this and then enjoying a warm donut.
Smother the donuts Funfetti frosting.
Sprinkle away. Add different amounts of candy eyes to each donut for different looks.
Enjoy!
How to Store Air Fryer Donuts
Store your air fryer donuts in an air-tight container for a couple of days.

If you cannot find the Halloween Green Funfetti frosting you can use any frosting you like. Dye vanilla frosting with gel food coloring for different colors.
Candy Eyes and Sprinkles will be needed if the green Funfetti frosting isn't used.
Wait until donuts have cooled to frost them. If they're frosted while warm the frosting will melt into a glaze.
