I’ve turned one of my kid’s favorite breakfasts into a fun Easter morning breakfast using frozen waffles, fresh fruit, candy eyes, and pretzel sticks. All of these items are always stocked in our home so it makes this breakfast extra easy!

Easter bunny face waffles or pancakes can be made with fresh or frozen waffles or pancakes. If you’re using fresh then make your favorite recipe and then follow the decorating steps below.

Tips for making Easter Bunny Waffles

  • Use frozen waffles for an easier morning. Just cook them per the package directions.
  • Add bacon or sausage to give the bunny face a bow tie.
  • Add some whipped cream to the ears under the strawberries for more deliciousness.
  • Swap out the candy eyes with blueberries or M&M’s.

How to make Easter Bunny Waffles

To make your Easter Bunny Waffles you’re going to need:

  • 2 Waffles
  • 2 Strawberries
  • Banana
  • 2 Candy Eyes
  • 4 Pretzel Sticks

Here’s how to make Bunny Face Waffles

Heat up the waffles according to the directions on the package.

Cut one of the waffles in half both vertically & horizontally. You’ll cut it into 4 pieces.

Place the whole waffle in the center of a plate.

Place the two larger waffle halves on the top of the whole waffle to create bunny ears.

Take two candy eyes and place them on the whole waffle.

Slice up the banana and take two slices to create bunny cheeks.

Take a strawberry and cut the tip-off of it.

Stick 4 pretzel sticks into the strawberry to create a bunny nose with whiskers.

Now take the remaining strawberry. Remove the leafy part and cut it in half.

Place the strawberry halves onto each bunny ear to create the pink part of the ear.
