Halloween Rolo Pretzels Monster Eyes

Do you need a Halloween rolo pretzels recipe? I got one for you and it’s so easy to make! You’ll need just 3-4 ingredients and about 20 minutes. These Rolo Pretzel Monster Eyes make a delicious Halloween treat, a great Halloween movie night snack, or the perfect addition to a Halloween lunch.

How to Make Halloween Rolo Pretzels

Now that you’re ready to make your Halloween Rolo Pretzels, here is what you’ll need:

  • Dark chocolate Rolos
  • Pretzel snaps or mini twists
  • M&M’s
  • Large candy eyes

How to Make Halloween Rolo Pretzel Monster Eyes

Preheat the oven to 250 F and line two baking trays with parchment paper. (I like to work in two batches so that I have time to assemble the Rolo pretzels before the outer chocolate starts to harden back up. If it starts to harden then it can cause more cracks when pressing the eyeballs and M&Ms into it.)

Place 18 pretzels onto the prepared tray (or however many you’d like to make).

Then add the unwrapped Rolos onto each pretzel.

Bake for about 2-3 minutes, enough to soften the Rolos but not fully melt it.

Remove from the oven and then immediately press a candy eye or M&M on top.

Transfer the other tray into the oven and repeat the process.

Allow to set completely before serving, about 20-30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate it for 10-15 minutes to speed up the process.

Enjoy!

How to Store Rolo Pretzels!

Store leftovers in an airtight container on the counter for up to 2 weeks. You may also refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.

Tips and Tricks for Making Pretzel Rolos!

Half, double, or triple the recipe as needed depending on how much you’d like to make.

Any flavor Rolo will work.

Want to switch it up? Instead of Rolos, you can use mini peanut butter cups, Hershey kisses, or soft caramels.

Instead of pretzel snaps, you can use mini twists, pretzel waffles (rounds), pretzel crisps, or pretzel flats.

For more variety, you can top some of the Rolos with candy corn or nuts such as pecans.

Do not bake for too long as it will overmelt. And also, do not bake at too high of a heat, otherwise the outer chocolate on the Rolos will bubble up.
