My Top 10 Shows for Fall

1. Grey’s anatomy2-HOUR SEASON PREMIERE THURSDAY SEPT 22 9|8c

The doctors of Seattle Grace Hospital deal with life-or-death consequences on a daily basis—it’s in one another that they find comfort, friendship and, at times, more than friendship. Together they’re discovering that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white. Real life only comes in shades of grey.

2. Desperate HousewivesSEASON PREMIERE SUNDAY SEPT 25 9|8c

In the town of Fairview there’s a street called Wisteria Lane; a peaceful cul-de-sac with manicured lawns and beautiful houses. It’s a place where you know all your neighbors and your neighbors know all about you. It’s the perfect suburban fantasy.

But, behind every picket fence there are secrets. And, in every seemingly happy home, you’ll find jealousy, lust, passion, and sometimes…murder.

3. Private PracticeSEASON PREMIERE THURSDAY SEPT 29 10|9c

The doctors of Oceanside Wellness and Pacific Wellcare work on the most difficult cases, patients whose medical needs often pose moral and ethical dilemmas. Though they may heatedly disagree at work, and though their personal lives may complicate matters, at the end of the day they are the best of friends, always ready to be there for each other.

4. House – Mon 9/8c Oct 3

HOUSE, an innovative take on the medical drama, is a series in which the villain is a medical malady and the hero is an irreverent, controversial doctor who trusts no one, least of all his patients.

5. Pan Am – TAKES OFF SUNDAY SEPT 25 10|9c

Welcome to 1963: a time when only a lucky few could take flight, experience a global adventure or gain a front-row seat to history. Those lucky few flew Pan Am, the largest, most prestigious airline in the world. More than Coca-Cola, Elvis Presley or the transistor, Pan Am exported American culture to the world abroad and brought that world back to American shores.

6. SuburgatorySERIES PREMIERE WEDNESDAY SEPT 28 8:30|7:30c

Single father George only wants the best for his 16-year-old daughter, Tessa. So when he finds a box of condoms on her nightstand, he moves them out of their apartment in New York City to a house in the suburbs. But all Tessa sees is the horror of over-manicured lawns and plastic Franken-moms. Being in the ‘burbs can be hell, but it also may just bring Tessa and George closer than they’ve ever been.

7. Revenge Pilot – WEDNESDAY SEPT 21 10|9c

Wealth, beauty and status define the people in this town, but one woman is willing to destroy everyone for the sake of revenge

8. Broke Girls Mondays, 8:30/7:30c Sept 19

2 BROKE GIRLS is a comedy about two young women waitressing at a greasy spoon diner who strike up an unlikely friendship in the hopes of launching a successful business – if only they can raise the cash.

9. WhitneySeries Premiere September 22 Thursdays 9:30/8:30c

NBC’s new multi-camera comedy “Whitney” is a hilarious look at modern day love, which centers around Whitney (Whitney Cummings, “Chelsea Lately”) and Alex (Chris D’Elia, “Glory Daze”), a happily unmarried couple. Together for three years, the duo is in no rush to get hitched, which seems to get a mixed response from their friends.

10. I hate my teenage daughter – 9:30/8:30c NOV 23

I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER (working title) is a new multi-camera comedy about two best friends who are single moms struggling to raise their difficult and over-privileged teenage daughters.
