Fall Decorations

Sharing is caring!

It’s beginning to look a lot like fall and I couldn’t be more excited! I love this time of year. The lights, the colors, the cold… It makes me a happy girl! Not to mention Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite holidays.

I went to Pier1 today to check out their clearance sale and wasn’t impressed. Call me cheap, but when I buy something on clearance I want it to be under $10 and would be even happier if it was under $5. The few things I had liked online I either couldn’t find in the store or didn’t like in person. I decided to go next door to Michael’s just to look around since I was already there.

Boy did I walk out happy! A majority of their fall decorations were 4o-50% off. I scored this cute pumpkin candle holder for $3.99 (original price $8), felt leaf placemat $1.99, a mini pumpkin $2.09 (original price $4) and some fall colored leaves with beads $4.99. I wish I had brought my 50% off one item coupon from their ad this week because I could have gotten the flowers for 50% off, but I never shop here and didn’t think I would be going into Michael’s. (Don’t be like me, bring your coupon!) So for about $10 (if you use your coupon) you can have this cute little center piece! I just need to get an orange colored candle for it, which I am sure I can get from the $0.99 store (I won’t be lighting it)

I then decided I needed some placemats to go with this center piece. Michael’s didn’t have any and Pier1 had nothing good on clearance and I wasn’t going to pay full price for them. I went to Ross and was able to find some fall colored silk-ish placemats with leaf designs for $2.99 each! I am sure I could have found a better deal on placemats, but these were exactly what I was looking for. I picked up 3 in various colors and they were the only ones there!

For about $20 I was able to give my boring table some life.

Do you decorate your house for fall? What are some things you do?
