I remember watching the original Lady and the Tramp when I was growing up. My favorite scene was when they are eating the spaghetti. (I know, so cliche…) So when I found out they were re-releasing it on Blue Ray Diamond Addition I was happy because I could introduce my daughter to a great, classic Disney movie.
The Lady and the Tramp Blue Ray Diamond addition has been digitally restored beyond the movies original brilliance, but it’s being presented in High Definition picture and sound. What does this mean exactly? No more grainy, dull colors. Instead you will have high quality sound, picture, and vibrant colors.
{Synopsis}
Lady and the Tram is a classic love story that unfolds in the best Disney tradition as a lovely young pedigreed cocker spaniel named Lady, who lives a pampered life, finds herself falling romantically for Tram an amorous street-smart pooch without prospects. Although they have fun together on several dates, including a sentimental spaghetti dinner by moonlight at Tony’s restaurant, their relationship is strained not only by Lady’s loyalty to her human family and their newborn baby, but by Tramp’s devil-may-care attitude that eventually gets Lady in trouble and tossed into the dog pound. However, good-hearted Tramp redeems himself by saving the baby from potential harm and thus wins Lady’s love and the affection of her human family.
