My First Crayola – Review & Giveaway

If there is one thing my toddler LOVES to do it’s color. In the last few month’s she has become quite the little artist. If she finds crayons chances are a couch, wall, or table is getting colored.

When crayola released their My First line of products I knew they were something we had to have. Most of the coloring products out there are geared towards older kids, so it’s nice when someone thinks of the younger kids. My first crayola is designed with the toddler in mind. They are for ages 12+ months and help your child to connect, discover, and grow with art.

My daughter LOVED the items we were sent to review. The markers and crayons were very easy for her to use. She was able to get the caps on and off by herself and the palm grip allowed her to easily grasp the crayons and markers to color.

She did end up getting some crayon and marker on the table and they easily washed off, which I love. She still tends to miss the paper from time to time and it’s nice to know that if she does I can easily clean up her mess.

We were also sent the My first crayola Mess-free  finger paint and paper. This was a HUGE hit with my daughter. The finger paint was truly mess free and when she did get some on the table it was hardly even noticeable and wiped up right away. It was also easy to wash off her little hands.

I also purchased the triangle crayons and mess free doodle board. My daughter loves these items as well. The triangle crayons are perfect for all the airplane trips we take since they can’t roll off the seat trays. They are easy to grasp and allow my daughter to color on the bumpy airplane without having her crayons roll away. The mess free doodle board requires no ink or paper and is reusable. I love that it allows my daughter to color when I don’t feel like bringing out the crayons and markers and she also uses it in the car or on plane rides. One side is gel based for finger painting and the other side you use with a pen you fill with water. It’s mess free and dries quickly. The board is light weight and transports easily.
