I’m not the best when it comes to being “eco-friendly”, but I try. The main thing I always try to do is recycle.
Now that we are living in an apartment space is limited and it’s hard to always have a place to put my recyclables until I can take them outside.
I normally stack my recyclable items on the counter until I take the trash out again, but since our counter space is small my counter ends up being covered in plastic bottles and metal cans. It looks gross and messy…

I love the two different storage compartments because I can separate soda cans and water bottles (which I like to turn in for money) from other recyclable items.
Both the top and bottle units pull out and have handles for convenient carrying and the no slip liner lock keeps my trash bags in place. I hate when I put a trash bag in something and then once it starts filling up the trash bag starts to slip out of place and creating a mess. The liner lock keeps my bag in place!
Since our kitchen is small there isn’t much room to put the 2-in-1 recycler, but I have a small laundry next to my kitchen that the recycler fits nicely into it.
The recycler has a basic design, but it keeps all my recyclables nicely stored and out of the way. I no longer have empty cans, bottles, and various items sitting on my counter. Instead I store them away in the recycler until i’m ready to take them outside.
It does fill up rather quickly, but I don’t mind since I now have a mess free place to store my recyclable items.
All in All I am happy with my Rubbermaid 2-in-1 recycler. It’s convenient, easy to use, and keeps my recyclables organized and out of my way!

I recycle and I really need this - my hubby is tired of the plastic bag hanging by the garbage can for recycling items. I always have to dig the recycling items out of the garbage. My fam thinks I am crazy about recycling.
