When I was contacted by WOW Toys to do a review I jumped at the chance. I love finding a new toy brand and since all of WOW Toys have something that goes VROOOM I knew they would be a perfect fit in our house. My 2 year old LOVES a toy she can push around…

We were sent Penny’s Pooch ‘n’ Ride. I was worried that the box would come crushed or damaged since it was getting sent from the UK, but I was happy when it arrived and it was in perfect condition. I made my daughter wait a few days before we opened it and I think those were the longest few days of her life. She would constantly stare at it and try to sneak it away to open it when I wasn’t watching.

Once I finally let her open it she couldn’t put it down. We’ve had the toy for several weeks now and she still consistently plays with it. Normally a new toy comes in and she will play with it for a few days or couple weeks and doesn’t touch it again. Not with Penny, she LOVES it and plays with it daily.

I found the packaging to be a pain to open. There were all kinds of twist ties and things to hold the toys in place, so if you had a small child make sure you don’t leave any on the floor for them to possible eat.

Other then the packaging I am VERY pleased with Penny. She is very durable and you can tell she’s made of good quality materials. The paint hasn’t started rubbing off and there are no small pieces. There are no batteries which is my favorite thing! I do wish the dog bed fit into the back of the car though. I often find my daughter trying to fit it into the trunk and it  doesn’t fit properly, but that doesn’t stop her from putting the dog in the back and penny in the front and crawling around the house saying “vrooooom”.

All in All I am very happy to have been introduced to WOW Toys. I love a quality brand of children’s toys that encourage imaginative play. I love that the toys are built with child safety in mind and that they don’t require batteries. They are durable, but most of all my daughter loves it!
