I always call my 2 year old my little diva. She loves getting her nails painted, pretty clips for her hair, shoes, purses, and clothes! My mom always said I was bad when it came to that stuff growing up, but my daughter is worse then I ever was and at a younger age. Anytime we go to a store she wants to pick out her own items and gets upset if I don’t let her. I often find her changing her outfit 2-3 times a day for no reason other then to have a new outfit on. Most of the time her outfits and shoes don’t match, but that’s ok because she is being creative and expressing her style.
Barbie understands the need little girls have for ruffles, bows, character art, prints and patterns. They also understand little girls want to wear their favorite brands, so they came out with the Barbie branded apparel collection, now available at Walmart. The Barbie brand collection has everything from tees, tunics, skirts, and leggings. Everything is little girl appropriate and meant for little girls to mix and match to create their own fun and fashionable outfits. The clothing line is available in little girl/toddler sizes.
My daughter was sent 3 shirts and a skirt from the barbie collection. They arrived in a pink, sparkly barbie house and she was ecstatic when she opened the box. She instantly loved her new sparkly clothes and started trying to put them on right away. She doesn’t really know who barbie is yet, but she loved the clothes regardless.
This Barbie Girls’ 2 piece tee and scooter set is adorable! It’s good quality and a great price. I was actually surprised at the good quality because of the low price. The shirt has a cute bow and glitter on it. The skirt has built in shorts, which I love! My 2 year old doesn’t understand to keep her legs closed so I don’t put her in skirts often. The built in shorts allow her to wear this adorable skirt and allow me not to worry about her showing the world her under things.
In addition to the 2 piece set she was sent 2 tee’s. Both of them have vibrant colors and glitter. Two things any little girl is sure to love! With preschool starting next week I am sure she will be the most stylish girl in her class…
My 2 year old put together a little video of her trying on her new Barbie clothes that she loves! She loves the clothes, but doesn’t love me trying to video tape her. The fashion show was a challenge, but what diva doesn’t cause problems??
The next time I am in Walmart I am going to have to check out the rest of the line and pick up some additional items. They are just too cute, stylish, and reasonably priced not to buy more.
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Barbie Clothing. I received a sample package to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.
