My daily beauty routine went out the door years ago. I never use to leave the house unless my hair and makeup were done, but that stopped a few years ago when I had baby #2. I realized that I didn’t need to be done up for a quick trip to the grocery store or quick errand. Plus trying to get ready with a baby isn’t always the easiest thing…
My daily beauty routine has changed over the years. I use to do full makeup everyday, but that stopped when I was pregnant with my second child. Most days I am lucky if any makeup touches my face, but depending on the day and where I am going depends on my beauty routine.
I wash my face daily and apply acne cream. If I am going to be home all day then that is the most I do. If I am heading out for some quick errands I will slap on some lip balm and mascara or If I am going on a play date or somewhere around adults for awhile I will put on mascara, blush, and tinted moisturizer. The only time I really do full makeup is when I’m going somewhere special, out with the hubby, or I’m in the mood for it (which isn’t very often). My hair is either flat ironed or tied back in a pony tail, pretty low maintenance other then my color.
The beauty section is one of my favorite parts of ANY store. I could get lost and go broke anytime I go into one, so I try to avoid them unless I am in need of something, but that doesn’t always tend to happen. I’ve always heard good things about e.l.f cosmetics. Especially that they are cheap and good! I am all about cheap these days. With two kids to take care of I don’t have all the extra money I use to have to buy super expensive cosmetics.
I picked up some e.l.f cosmetic items to add to my daily beauty routine on a recent trip to walmart and was surprised at how cheap everything was. Almost everything was priced between $1-$3. Talk about a bargain!
e.l.f Cosmetics if my type of makeup. Cheap, long lasting, and they have a nice variety. I am happy I picked up a few new items from e.l.f and added them to my simple daily beauty routine!
What’s your daily beauty routine? Do you have one or did it go out the window when you had kids??

I haven't ever tried e.l.f products. I am going to look for them the next time I am out shopping for makeup.

My routine is very similar to yours...totally depends on what's going on during the day!

I had no idea elf was available in stores now! I still have my beauty routine luckily. Sure my son may whine a little while momma's getting ready. Just b/c I"m a mom now doesn't mean I have to look frumpy :P

I haven't had the chance to try out elf products, but I definitely need to! I usually don't use much makeup, just lip balm and concealer when I do.

I totally know the feeling! I used to always do my makeup, and get dressed like I was really going somewhere important...now I'm lucky if I get a shower before 5pm! No joke! I absolutely love PHisoderm face wash. AMAZING stuff and use it everyday but other than that I do not wear makeup unless I'm going somewhere other than quick outings. I love a lot of the Victoria's Secret products and a few other select items like Lancome mascara. I've heard great things about e.l.f so tomorrow I'm going to make it a point to grab a few things while I'm at Walmart!
