When I heard Cinderella was being released for a limited time on Blu-Ray Oct 2nd I was beyond excited. I grew up watching all of the Disney classics, especially Cinderella! Since Cinderella was one of my favorites growing up and now I’ll be able to share that joy with my daughter I thought it would be fun to have a Cinderella viewing party!
Before heading to Walmart we downloaded the Disney Princess Augmented Reality App. It’s available for free in the iTunes store and Google Play store. The Disney Princess Augmented Reality App was quick to download and easy to use. With it you can pick a outfit for the ball, pick a carriage to take you to the ball, and then you head to the royal ball to dance the night away. My daughter and I had fun dressing up and going to the ball. When we headed to Walmart we played with the app some more since you can unlock additional outfits, while in a Walmart store.
Every Princess needs a party dress, Right? Lucky for us all of the Halloween costumes are at the front of our Walmart. When we walked in we stopped to pick up the Princess a dress for her party!
Our next stop was to pick up some party supplies…
A party isn’t complete with out plates, decorations, and balloons! Walmart has everything we need to plan our special Cinderella Party and at affordable prices.
I am so excited to be hosting this viewing party and I have so many fun ideas of things to do at the party and food to serve. Once we got home my daughter wanted to put on her sparkly new party dress and she hasn’t wanted to take it off since. I think she loves Cinderella just as much as I do and the DVD isn’t even out yet…
To celebrate the release of Cinderella on Blu-Ray select Walmart locations will be hosting Cinderella Retailtainment Events on October 6th from 11-3 PM. Call your local Walmart to see if there is an event near you! I’m surprising my daughter by taking her to this event and she’ll be dressing up in her new dress for it…
Will you be first in line to pick up the Cinderella Blu-Ray on Oct 2nd? I know I’ll be picking it up and I can’t wait!! What are some fun princess foods you would serve at a Cinderella party??

That is a cute cinderella dress. My mom used to make Halloween costumes for me all the time, but she never made me a princess dress.
