Our trip to Thomas the Train Live!

Sharing is caring!

Remember a few weeks ago when I mentioned Thomas the Train Live was coming to Golden, CO? Well, that time is here! Thomas the Train live is at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, CO on Sept 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23, Saturday/Sundays.

We went to see Thomas Live this past weekend and had a blast! There were so many fun things for the family to do and my daughter loved seeing all the “Choo Choo’s”.

The best part was being able to ride on Thomas the Train. There is a conductor that comes and punches your tickets. During the ride they talk about the museum and some of the trains and then at the end of the ride they give the kids a Jr Engineer certificate.

Once we were done with our ride on Thomas the Train we walked around the museum. They have a tent where the kids can get temporary tattoo’s, a tent with train sets and mega bloks for kids to play with, a meet n greet with Sir Topham Hatt, petting zoo, sing-a-long, and magic shows.

Make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes before your train ride time so you can get good seats, bring cash since there are lots of yummy vendors selling kettle corn, ice cream, and various other foods. I would also suggest wearing good shoes. I came in flip flops and wish I hadn’t since the museum is mostly outdoors with dirt and rocks on the ground. There is even a Thomas the Train store you have to exit through, with all things Thomas the Train.

Thomas the Train Live was lots of fun and my daughter couldn’t stop talking about it. It would be a great day out for the whole family and there is something for everyone to do. You can find out more information about Thomas the Train Live HERE or you can purchase tickets HERE.

*I was given tickets in exchange for a review. Regardless, all opinions are my own.
