Sharing is caring!
I bought my first car from a family member when I was 19 years old. I wish I had known before I bought it that they ripped me off and the car was a hunk of junk. It ended up dying several months later and I had to get another car. This time I decided I would go to a dealership, so I could get a reliable car for my son and I. I had always heard that Car Dealership Salesmen take advantage of you, especially if you don’t know any better. I thought since I was going to my (at the time) boyfriend’s friend, that I would get a great deal. I ended up finding out a few weeks later they took total advantage of me and sold the car to me for a lot more then it was worth.
I wish I had a service like Carwoo when I purchased my first dealership car. Carwoo allows you to shop for cars right from home and connects you with dealerships anonymously. No being hassled by salesmen, driving around until you find a dealership you like, or any of the stress that can come from buying a new car. Here’s how it works:
- Tell dealers about the car you want to buy. You don’t have to have all of the specifics, but a general idea is a good start.
- Local dealers make offers to you on the type of car you’re looking for.
- Negotiate with dealers anonymously. You can make offers via a call or email and you don’t have to give them any personal information.
- Once you are ready to purchase your new car you can lock in your price with the click of a button and then schedule a time to pick up your new ride!
Simple, Easy, and Stressfree!!
Carwoo has a couple of memberships to choose from and they have a 100% money back guarantee.
Thankfully I have my husband to handle the hassle of buying a new car, but if for some reason I had to handle it, I will be using Carwoo!
Do you have a funny or horrible story from buying a car? Tell me below for a chance to win a Carwoo Plus Membership (RTV $99)

Every car purchase is a horrible story. Salesmen try to sell you what you don't want or need. They lie and don't listen to you. At the conclusion the contract has all sort of extra charges added that greatly increases the low price you negotiated.

The first car I got was a cheap kinda old beat up car. It didn't cost much but the clutch went a few weeks later when I was driving alone in the middle of no where. Thankfully I had breakdown cover!

I hate car shopping! At one dealer, we were so far apart on price and the jerk did not want to give an inch. Of course their price was padded like crazy. After an hour made him an offer and told him I was going to his competitor. I thought I was bluffing. I did and bought the car. NExt day, I drove it over to the dealer and rubbed it into his face.

We wound up with a car I just can't stand. Our car died and it was going to cost a whole lot more than it was worth. Problem was is that we lived in the middle of now where and really needed to cars. We had no choice but to buy what was on the car dealer's lot. We are finally getting ready to start looking for a replacement. YAY!!! This looks like this would really help.
