Crocs: Women’s Berryessa Hiker Boots

Living in Colorado means cold and wet winters! Last year was my first winter in the snow and I learned a lot, but the number 1 thing I learned is that you need a good pair of winter boots. I figured wearing my favorite pair of sheep skin boots would do the job, but I was so wrong!! I was often left with cold and wet feet because those boots couldn’t withstand the ice, snow, and puddles that comes with a Colorado winter. This year I knew I needed new boots, but I didn’t even know where to look! Then I was given the chance to test out some Crocs…

I had never owned a pair of Crocs before and I always thought they only made their classic clogs, but Crocs has come a long way and they have clogs, boots, sandals, and flats! When I saw they had boots I knew those were the shoe I wanted to test out. I was sent the Women’s Berryessa Hiker Boots in black. The Women’s Berryessa Hiker Boots help protect you from the terrain of the city streets during winter. They have a rugged soft-touch upper laces up for a secure fit, and tolerate splishes and splashes. While the fuzzy lining helps feet forget that it’s winter.

The boots come with purple or grey laces, so you can change the look depending on your mood or outfit and the inside is lined with a super soft and fuzzy lining that keeps your feet comfy, cozy, and warm. I haven’t been able to test them out in the snow, but I got to wear them in the rain. They left my feet warm and dry all day, so I am excited to see how they do in the snow. However, I am confident that even in the snow my feet will remain warm and dry. My foot is on the wide side and I was nervous to see if they would fit or not, but I got them on with minimal issue, they aren’t too tight, and they are comfortable to wear.

The boot comes up right below my calf and goes great with jeans or leggings. I love that they aren’t too big and bulky and don’t look weird when you wear them with boot cut jeans. You know how some boots make your jeans stick out or make you look like you have giant ankles? These don’t do that and I love it. The Women’s Berryessa Hiker Boots are my new favorite pair of fall/winter shoes and would be perfect for any woman who has to battle the winter weather.
