Fun Kids Games from Thinkfun!

Sharing is caring!

There aren’t too many games on the market for kids under 3 and my toddler is always getting into her big brothers games when she sees him. The poor child want’s to play so badly, but the games my 9 year old plays have small pieces, which she tends to lose. When I was asked to review the Roll & Play toddler game I jumped at the chance because this would be a game just for her and I knew she would love it.

As soon as Roll & Play arrived my toddler wanted to play. It’s been a fun game for us to play with her and it’s also been great helping her with her speech and she often has her speech therapist play with her. Roll & Play is the FIRST game ever designed specifically for toddlers! To play, simply toss the big plush cube and identify which colored side faces up. Choose a matching color card and perform the simple activity shown. “Make a happy face,” “Moo like a cow” the activities supported by Roll & Play are designed to help your child shine, supporting healthy development and celebrating success!

The cubs is big, plush, and soft. It’s perfect for her small hands and she has a blast tossing it on the floor and watching to see what color it will land on. We can then practice what color that is and she can do what’s on the card. She thinks this is the best game ever and I have to approve. It’s perfect for any toddler aged 18+ months and I am so thrilled that there is a game out there for this age range. Not only is it fun to play, but educational and teaches great skills.

In addition to the Roll & Play for my daughter, my son was sent Unhinged. Unhinged is is made up of 10 hexagons that hinge together in a diabolically puzzling manner. To play, flip and fold this unique manipulative puzzle to match one of 40 Puzzle Challenges. The tactile appeal of flipping and folding makes UnHinged easy to pick up – and almost impossible to put down! This game is great for ages 8+ and I love that this puzzle game is made for all ages!

The games gave us a great challenge and really makes you think. It provides hours of fun and is great to play alone or with a group of people. The tiles are easy to move around and the book has some challenging puzzles to solve.

Both games can be purchased from the Thinkfun website or Amazon.com.
