Saying that my toddler loves to color is an understatement. It’s one of her favorite things to do and she will color with anything she can get her little hands on, but I think it’s safe to say that most toddlers and kids love to color, draw, paint, and do art type stuff. She never had anywhere to keep all of her art stuff before, so we just kept everything on the book shelf and when she wanted to color we would take it out for her. Now that she has the Step2: Art Master Activity Desk she can store all of her books, coloring books, paper, markers, crayons, and various other art supplies in one place.
The Step2: Art Master Activity Desk has PLENTY of store for all your artist’s supplies. The desk was fairly easy to put together and it’s very sturdy/durable. It is a little big and bulky, but what desk isn’t?? The recommended age is 3+, but my almost 3 year old loves using the desk. She is still a little small for it and she often finds herself standing up to reach over and grab a new marker from the holder, but the desk is such great quality that I know she will grow into it and use it for several years.
Did I mention all the storage on this beauty? Both sides have a generous slots to store books, coloring books, and paper. The top shelf has space for markers, paint bottles, glue, or whatever else you may want to store up there. The desk itself has a dry erase board that opens and you can store paper inside of. Fold it back down and your child can use the dry erase board as is or use it as the base for whatever project they have in mind. The desk has a light under the shelf that pushes on/off, along with MORE storage. There are places for markers, crayons, paint bottles, water colored paint, and even a cup holder because all kids need to stop for a juice break. PLUS, there is a hidden shelf under the desk for more paper or book storage.
All in All we give the Step2 Art Master Activity Desk 2 thumbs up! It’s the perfect desk for any little artist and should last for years and years. Our daughter couldn’t be happier with it and I love looking over to see her sitting down, hard at work coloring. I’m not sure the refrigerator agrees, since we are running out of places to hang all her amazing work!

Wow! I'm really loving the amount of storage on this desk compared to the others I have been looking at. The marker holder is clever and something that, alone, would keep my daughter enteretained just putting stuff in and out. I love that she enjoys artsy stuff and anything musical. Thanks for sharing!

It's a wonderful product for kids! My child loves to draw, so does the other children in my family!

My Lila loves to draw and color and she usually does it at the dining room table. I have ink on it now from pen marks so this would be great for her to have her own space to draw and have all her items stored in one place. Also we have her books and crayons everywhere so that would help with organization :o)

This looks great. Can't have enough storage! We've been really happy with our other Step2 toys, and I'm sure my kid would love this as well.
