I often joke that I am hot blooded and my husband says there is something wrong with me because I am always HOT. Every night when we go to bed I insist on sleeping with the ceiling fan on because I get so hot. I’m the type of person who is constantly flipping their pillow to find the “cool” spot or sticking my feet out from under the blankets to try and get cool. It’s hard for me to fall asleep if I am hot, but when I am cool, I fall right to sleep and sleep like a baby. I had never heard of PolarPillow before they contacted me and I couldn’t wait for my new pillow to arrive. Once it came I couldn’t wait to go to sleep that night. When I first touched it I noticed the coolness to it and I knew we would have a wonderful relationship. The pillow is a little on the heavy side, weighing in at 12lbs, but it’s 12lbs of awesome coolness. Along with the pillow I received a special pillow case for it that helps to enhance the effects of the pillow. The pillow is a little smaller then your standard pillow size, but the pillow size works for me. The best way to describe the pillow is that it’s like those blue gel freezer packs, just  pillow size. The pillow isn’t too firm or super soft, but something in between and I’m not sure how to describe it other then it’s gel. It molds to my head and neck perfectly and keeps me nice and cool while sleeping. I’ve even found that if I want to sleep with my regular pillow I can hug the Polarpillow and it still keeps me cool. Now if only they made a body pillow…
