If you are a regular reader then you’ve heard me say numerous times that my family travels a lot. We usually end up on an airplane once a month to go visit family and our trip is about 2.5 hours. For a toddler/pre-schooler 2.5 hours a long time and they can tend to get pretty antsy. I love the trips where our daughter is knocked out on take-off, but that doesn’t always happen so I make sure to have lots of things to do for her while on the plane.
I always try to pack her crayons, books, a puzzle or game, and some toy to keep her entertained, but all of that stuff adds up and my tote ends up full of her stuff and I am left with little room for my stuff. With the Innotab 2S she can watch her favorite TV shows such as dora and the bubble guppies, play games, and color. The best part is it’s all in one item and it’s light weight, small, and easy to transport. It’s perfect for traveling, but my toddler not only uses it for that. My husband and I are often playing around on our tablets and she will run off and get her tablet and sit with us and play. I’m happy knowing she is entertaining herself with fun and educational books, games, and TV shows. One of her favorite things to do it take pictures with the Inntab 2S and I often hear her saying “CHEEEEEESE” and hearing the camera going off. She thinks it’s the best thing ever and has turned into quite the little photographer.
As a mom, the Innotab 2S was easy to set up and I like being able to control what news apps she gets with a few clicks from my computer. The battery life is fairly decent for the tablet and there are some fun features to it. The stand, stylus, rotating camera, and easy to use touch screens are all nice additions for her.
