This post is sponsored by Walmart. All opinions and stories are my own!
I can’t believe that in about a month the toddler will be back in school and that means a couple hours of peace and quiet each day while she is off learning. Back to School shopping is upon us and I’ve seen the isles full of school supplies along with all the sales going on. Back to School shopping can get overwhelming, stressful, and expensive, but Walmart has created a program called Classrooms by Walmart to help ease some of that stress and with their always low prices, your wallet will be happy as well.
The Classrooms by Walmart program was designed to make back to school shopping for parents easy and stress free and for teachers to share their class lists with parents online. Parents can go to the Classrooms by Walmart site and pull up their child’s school and class supply list and even purchase their supplies online. Signing up is super quick and easy to do and I was able to pull up my daughters school supply list in a matter of minutes. To sign up you visit the Classrooms by Walmart website, Click on Parents sign up in the top menu, fill out the information, and hit sign up. For teachers you would follow the same steps, except you hit Teachers sign up in the top menu. Once you’ve created your account search for your child’s school using the “search for your school” box in the middle of the screen, click the school name, your child’s grade, and then shop for their supplies. Super easy and you can be done shopping in a matter of minutes.
Another great part about the Classrooms by Walmart website is the eBoxTops program. A school can earn cash back when someone shops online at Walmart.com. Simply start your shopping trip at classrooms.walmart.com choose your school from the list, shop online and earn up to 4% cash back for your school. And as a bonus, Walmart’s partners at Lysol will award over $50,000 in cash prizes to the schools that earn the most cash back between 7/15/2013 and 10/31 2013. To check if your school is signed up, visit the Cash for Schools website. If they aren’t registered, don’t click the sign up button as this is for school administrators. Instead, share the downloadable PDF “Free Cash For Your School” with your school administrator by email, or print it out.
I know some of the top school supplies for my toddler will be crayons, glue, scissors, and wipes. Thankfully I can shop from my couch and help out her school in the process.
What are some of the supplies your kid(s) will need?
