I received a Fellowes’ Saturn2 95 laminator for review purposes. All opinions are 100% my own!
I’ve been wanting a Laminator for a while now, especially since the toddler is in preschool and always bringing home cute art projects that I know I’ll want to save. I have a big shoe box I toss all the special ones in, but I’m always worried about them getting destroyed or ruined some how and I know a laminator will help to preserve them so she can show her kids all the cute things she made.
You know you’re getting older when you get excited about getting new appliances, things for the house, or any other thing that would make your life easier. When I received the email asking me if I wanted to try out the Fellowes’ Saturn2 95 laminator I squealed in delight since a laminator has been on my “to buy” list and back to school is just around the corner, which means more cute art work!
The Fellowes’ Saturn2 95 laminator is the ultimate tool to have around the house, especially for back to school because it helps preserve important documents, like schedules, calendars, flash cards, charts, certificates, and so much more. The possibilities are truly endless on what you can use the laminator for and having this in your house is so convenient, plus you can visit the Idea Center for inspiration and project ideas. The Saturn2 95 combines exclusive technologies and features:
o HeatGuard™ Technology: Double-walled insulation keeps heat inside so the laminator is comfortable to touch, making it safe for homes and classrooms with children
o Advanced Temperature Control: Hot and cold laminating capabilities ensure consistent, smooth results every time
o Release Lever: Permits easy removal or re-centering of stalled pouches to prevent jams
When my new toy arrived I quickly got to work playing and it was so cool that even my 3 year old wanted to get in on the action. I quickly unpacked it, turned it on, and hit the light for the appropriate pouch I was using. It took a few minutes for it to warm up and then I heard the beep meaning it was time to play. I quickly started gathering things that I could laminate and would watch as they went in one end and came out the other in a matter of seconds, laminated and shiny! The Fellowes’ Saturn2 95 laminator is so easy to use, that even my 3 year old could do it. You literally turn it on, hit the appropriate button, and while it’s warming up get your documents ready by placing them in the pouches. The pouches come in various sizes and all you do is pull them apart on the unsealed side, put your document in, place the sides back together, once the laminator is heated up you place the document in sealed side first, and wait for it to come out the other end!
One of the projects I laminated was the first pumpkin my toddler made and I swear the lamination made it more vibrant then it was before. Now I’ll be able to keep it for many many years and hopefully she will enjoy having it when she’s an adult.
The Fellowes Saturn2 95 is available at Staples.com and Staples for a suggested retail price of $159.99. Fellowes offers a wide range of laminators to suit a variety of needs with products also available at WalMart and Amazon.com. Additionally, check out the Fellowes National Teacher Appreciation Contest on their Facebook page here.
