I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Starburst. I received product samples to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating.
It’s that time of year again where Halloween is just a few weeks away and I know many of you are preparing by decorating, baking, and getting the little ones costumes in order, at least we are in our house. The toddler just loves Halloween and after seeing some of Tori Spellings Halloween treats and crafts I got inspired to make some Krispy Treat Pumpkins and used some Starburst Candy Corns for decoration. Starbust candies are a favorite among our family and when I saw they now have candy corn, I knew my husband and toddler would be thrilled about them and sure enough they can’t stop digging into the bag.
Tori Spelling came up with super cute decoration and baking ideas like her Boo Sign, Candied Cupackes, homemade jewelry, and so much more. Once I saw her Crispy Candy Corn Treats I knew they would be the perfect thing to make and surprise the toddler with. Instead of the Star Tori did, I decided to turn them into little pumpkins and they turned out so cute and the perfect Halloween treat!
I followed a standard Krispy Treat Recipe and added orange food coloring gel to the melted marshmallows, before adding the rice krispies. Then I added the krispy treats to a pumpkin mold I found at walmart to get the pumpkin shape and then decorated them with Starburst Candy Corn and Icing for a Halloween twist on such a delicious classic! Not only were they a fun thing for me to whip and quick thing for me to whip together, but everyone loved them! Perfect for a Halloween snack or party.
How do you decorate and prepare for Halloween? Which one of Tori’s Treats or Decorations would you re-create?

Fruit flavored candy corn? I had no idea they made such a thing...but I'm glad a trip to store was on my agenda this afternoon. I have to buy some of these!

These are too cute and so easy to make. I made these last year and I will be making them again this year. My almost 3 year old granddaughter will try and eat the whole batch. LOL
