I’m all for social media and sadly I spend a good chunk of my day checking various social media sites. Some of it is for fun, but a lot of it has to do with blogging. When I heard about the new social media site for moms called Moms.com I had to check it out. Not all of my friends are moms, so they can’t relate to all the kid stuff I post about on my personal facebook, but with a platform like Moms.com I can connect with other moms who can relate to what’s going on in my life.
Moms.com is all about communication – telling stories, asking for advice, sharing news, like, comment, find friends and talk to each other about things your non-mom friends won’t understand. On Moms.com you can just talk without hanging labels such as “breast-feeding mom,” “young mom”, “mom with twins”, ect. One of the site’s most unique features is Mom’s Moments. This feature allows users to create ‘sharable moments’ with other users like the one I created below…
The Moms.com interface is easy to sign up for and you can do so with your facebook account, it’s easy to navigate, you can create a profile, and most of all, connect with other moms. One of my favorite features is the “Moms Expertise” where you can ask questions or create discussions to get advice and connect with other moms. All in All it’s a great social media site for moms!
Moms.com wants to celebrate the launch of their social media site with a giveaway! One lucky mama with will a $250 Visa Gift Card! To enter fill out the rafflecopter form below!
