I was thrilled when the Jungle Book Blu-Ray arrived at our door, my daughter, not so much. She looked at the DVD and said “ooohhhh” and tossed it aside. When I put it on she quickly scurried off to her room and wanted nothing to do with it and I quickly proclaimed that she had to join me, que the tears. I was such a mean mommy for making her watch the movie. Oh the irony of being 3. So then I was left to watch the movie alone and I wasn’t complaining. I enjoyed every minute of it and was brought back to my childhood. I loved the Jungle Book growing up and vividly remember watching it A LO,T so being able to own it on Blu-Ray/DVD makes me happy happy happy and this one is going into my personal collection. It was the same ol’ Jungle Book from when I was a kid, but with more vivid colors and no graininess and being able to watch an alternate ending and behind the scenes stuff is a great perk of the Blu-Ray.
P.S. It’s crazy that I still remember all the words to the songs and I haven’t seen it since I was under 10!

I like when older movies like this get re-released.They always have extras that were cut from the original, plus you get to introduce your kids to something you grew up with.

We love the jungle book, and I actually think it was the first Disney movie I ever saw.
