My Thoughts:
I didn’t get a chance to see Saving Mr. Banks when it hit theaters so I was anxiously awaiting the release of the DVD so I could get a chance to watch it. I’ve heard so many good things about the DVD that I couldn’t wait to watch it. I put the kids down for bed and sat down to watch it. The movie is really good and brings Mary Poppins to life. It’s emotional, funny, and sucks you in from start to finish. It gives me a new appreciation for Mary Poppins with an emotional back story. The acting was superb and songs catchy! I still have the “let’s go fly a kite” song dancing around in my head…
