I was provided with an all expenses paid trip by Disney in exchange for my coverage. All opinions are always my own!
Jennifer Lee, Chris Buck, and Peter Del Vecho
Last month when I headed off to LA one of the cool thing I got to do was sit down with the creative geniuses behind Frozen. We got to have a Q&A session with Jennifer Lee, Chris Buck, and Peter Del Vecho and listening to them talk so passionately about the movie made is so much more favorable. It’s no secret that Frozen won 2 Academy Awards and it’s one of the highest grossing animated films, at over 1 billion dollars. It’s swept the box offices with it’s catchy and amazing music and great story line.
Of course one of the number one questions was if there was going to be a Frozen 2 and they said at this time there were no plans for one, but it wasn’t out of the question. They’re all so overwhelmed with the success of Frozen, esp since they weren’t expecting it to be such a hit. If you’ve seen the movie then you’ll see why it’s such a hit and why there NEEDS to be a Frozen 2! I listened to them talk about how Frozen took 5 years to make from start to finish and how they wanted to veer away from the traditional Disney Princess stories with an evil villain. At first Elsa was supposed to be an evil snow queen and then they decided against that. They finally came up with a story line about the love between two sisters and if you have a sister then you can understand that unbreakable and loving bond that sisters can have.
They also talked about how the villain in this movie is not a person, but instead it’s a feeling. The feeling of fear. Just hearing the passion and excitement in their voices about the creation process, story line, and everything about the movie was so inspiring. It made me want to run to the closest movie theater and watch it again and again. I just love where they went with this story line and that they didn’t do a traditional Disney Princess movie, instead they did something entirely different and something Disney hasn’t done before, creating a captivating story about the love and bond of two sisters…
The Frozen Blu Ray hits shelves on March 18th and make sure to check out the behind the scenes footage for more Frozen info!

What an awesome experience! How fun it would be if they did decide on making a Frozen 2 movie.

I think it's so cool that a woman got an Oscar for directing animation-it's about time!

I can't get over all the benefits and experiences bloggers receive...and rightly earned for all the work you put into doing reviews, recipe posts, daily life and giveaways. I think its wonderful that you had this opportunity. It must make you feel special when you watch the movie to know the creators behind it.
