I was provided with a BABYBJÖRN Travel Light Crib for review purposes. All opinions are 100% my own and not swayed by outside sources!
When our son was born he slept in a bassinet type thing next to our bed. Once he started to outgrow it I knew I wanted to get a travel crib to use since we would be moving soon and I didn’t want to add a big heavy crib to the moving list. It just so happens that around the time I was shopping for a travel crib BABYBJÖRN came out with their new travel light crib and asked me to try it out.
The first thing I noticed about the BABYBJÖRN Travel Light Crib is that it’s not heavy or bulky like other travel cribs I have used and purchased in the past. It came out of the box and popped into place with a few clicks. It is the easiest travel crib I’ve ever put together and just as easy to fold down and store in the bag. There was no struggling to get bars to pop into place or fold down and in all honesty, the no stuggle no hassle putting together and folding it up makes it a winner in my book.
Another thing that makes this a must have travel crib in my mommy book is the mattress. The other travel cribs I had with my previous cribs had hard mattresses. The travel light crib has a soft and comfortable mattress, making it a cozy place for your baby to sleep. The mattress has a built-in base plate that keeps the lightweight travel crib standing firmly on the floor, so your little one always sleeps securely.
The sides of the travel crib are made from soft and airy mesh fabric. Our little guy loves to roll around in his new crib and I often find him with his face up against the side of the crib. The mesh fabric calms my mommy worries since I know that he is still able to safely breath through the fabric and tThe see-through mesh also lets me keep an eye on him and allows him to look out at me when he’s awake and playing.
Having a baby means messes happen. Vomit happens, poop happens, and god knows big messes in general happen. Our daughter had a travel crib and threw up in it a few times. Once time she even took off her diaper and there was poop EVERYWHERE. Gotta love kids, right? Cleaning it was a huge pain since with other travel cribs the material doesn’t come off. One of my favorite things about the BABYBJÖRN Travel Light Crib is that the mattress cover and crib fabric easily come off and can be washed. Whether it’s a mess that your little one made or you simply just want to wash it, you can!
I can’t say enough good things about the BABYBJÖRN Travel Light Crib. It’s not too big or bulky, it easily folds up and down, and it’s light weight for easily traveling. Available at online and mass retailers for $299.95 and worth every penny!
