The hubby and I have never had a traditional honeymoon and I hope it’s something we can do when we hit our 5 year anniversary in march. We did however have a baby moon while I was pregnant with our oldest. We took off for a weekend in Lake Tahoe to relax and spend some alone time together. When we checked into the hotel we got our room keys and went up to our room. When we opened the door there was a couple already in the room settling in. We were all confused, but since they were in the room first we headed back down to the front desk where they upgraded us to a gorgeous suite and gave us free room service for the next morning. While the situation was awkward, we ending up winning in the end and it’s still something we laugh about 5 years later.
Our weekend was pretty relaxing. We slept, we ate, we explored, and we gambled and won a little money. On one of our outings we went to take pictures in the snow. It wasn’t really snow anymore and more like ice, very slippery ice. We were walking around when all of a sudden the hubby slipped and fell and I proceeded to laugh at him. I’m nice like that. Then a few minutes later I slipped and fell and he laughed at me. Talk about Karma…
