I made a delicious and easy dinner using Johnsonville® Meatballs as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #MeatballMasters

Johnsonville Italian Style Meatballs

Spaghetti night is a favorite in our house and it’s one of the kids favorite meals. Not only is it delicious, but it’s an easy meal to make and something I know the whole family will love and I don’t have to worry about the kids complaining that “they don’t like it” or “they don’t want that for dinner”. Family meals are important to me, but since hubby works night it’s often just the kids and I for dinner, but when he is home we all sit at the table for a family meal where we leave our phones in the other room and have dinner time conversations. It’s a great way for our family to connect, spend time together, and enjoy a delicious meal.

Johnsonville Meatballs

When I normally make spaghetti I cook some Italian sausage and ground beef, mix it with sauce, and call it done. We love having meatballs, but they’re so much work to make and when I’m trying to put an easy meal on the table, meatballs just don’t fit into the mix. Luckily I recently learned about Johnsonville® Italian Style Meatballs and they allow us to have some tasty meatballs without all the work!

Johnsonville® Meatballs are fully cooked, so all you have to do is heat them up and serve. They’re made with quality ingredients, taste great, and have no artificial flavors or colors. They’re available in the frozen foods section and you just need to add them to your spaghetti sauce and simmer for 25 minutes until they’re fully thawed out and ready to eat!

The Johnsonville® Italian Style Meatballs are already seasoned, but I sauteed mine in a little olive oil and garlic before adding my spaghetti sauce. For my sauce I just use a jar of store sauce and a can of tomato sauce, season with a little salt, pepper, garlic, and Italian seasoning and then let simmer for about 30 minutes. One thing I do to really kick my spaghetti up a notch is combine some olive oil and butter (the real stuff) in a skillet. Let it melt and them add your spaghetti noodles. Saute them in the olive oil and butter mixture for a few minutes and then serve with the sauce and meatballs. I saw this on the cooking channel once and it’s so delicious! Try it. You’ll love it!
