Halloween Floral Pumpkin Vase Centerpiece

Floral Halloween Pumpkin

Happy First Day of Fall y’all! I am way too excited that the holidays are slowly arriving because this is my favorite time of year. Chilly days, leaves changing colors, cozy sweaters, and beautiful and fun decor. October is dedicated to Halloween decor, but I just couldn’t wait and decorated a little early this year. My mantel has been done for about a week now, but I was wanting something else to add to the Halloween decor in our living room. I like to keep our Halloween theme fun and cute since we have little kids and I’m just not into the scary stuff. Orange, Purple, Black, and Lime green is our color theme and things like friendly ghosts and witches, pumpkins, and cute signs decorate our mantel. Since I love flowers I knew a floral pumpkin arrangement was the perfect piece to add. Using a pumpkin as a vase is genius!

I headed to my local craft store and picked up a craft pumpkin, Halloween flowers, and a few fun embellishments for my pumpkin vase. In addition to those you’ll need hot glue, floral dry foam, floral wire cutters, and preferably a hot knife. Black roses with glitter is the perfect touch of glam, purple flowers with spooky eyes adds just a touch of spooky, witch legs and spiders scream Halloween, and the pumpkin makes the perfect vase. This was very easy to make and just under 15 minutes you’ll have a gorgeous Halloween centerpiece that can be customized to any Halloween decor theme.

What you’ll need:

What you’ll do:

I didn’t have a hot knife (which I am not wishing I had gotten) so I used a really sharp knife to cut the top of my craft pumpkin open. Either way, be very careful.

Hot glue the floral foam inside the pumpkin, let dry a few seconds.

Start arranging your flowers and embellishments. Let your creativeness come to life. I placed flowers in first and then added the embellishments at the end.

If you find stems are too long, cut them to a length you love.

Bend flowers to face outward or fill in any gaps.

This was such an easy project that I had so much fun making. The best part is you don’t have to be crafty to put this together. Grab some items you like, play around with the arrangement placing, and put it all together for a beautiful Halloween centerpiece
