Celebrating National Nutrition Month with Healthy Road Trip Snacks!

It’s inevitable y’all. We get into the car and my kids are instantly hungry or they know we’re going out and have to grab a snack first. This happens ALL. THE. TIME. Fellow parents, I know y’all understand this, right? With March being National Nutrition Month and Spring Break being just around the corner I wanted to share with y’all some delicious snacks that are healthier for you and your littles, but are also great for being on the go or taking trips.

We just got back from a weekend away and I made sure to pack plenty of snacks for the road trip to Colorado Springs and back for the kids + snacks for while we were there. I’m a firm believer in feeding my kids a healthy balance of foods, but keep healthier snack options in higher stock. Thankfully my kids tend to grab the healthier snack options before junk and for our trip I made sure to pack a lot of healthier snack options that I knew they would love, like popcorn, granola bars, and crunchy veggie sticks.

Brew Dr. Kombucha

I’ve heard a lot about Kombucha over the years, but hadn’t tried it until recently.
