English Muffin Pizzas – The Perfect Kid Friendly Recipe!

Sharing is caring!

This post brought to you by Bay’s English Muffins. English Muffin Pizzas are the perfect kid friendly recipe. Crispy, Cheesy, Gooey, and oh so delicious!

Do you have any things from your childhood that you remember and love, but it’s been a long time since you’ve done or had it? For me one of those things is english muffin pizzas. I remember my mom teaching me how to make them as a kid and they were so good. Crispy, cheesy, and the perfect size for my (then) small hands. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I decided to make them for my kids. They loved them and have been asking for more since. The great thing about the pizzas is that they only require a few simple ingredients, are easy for the kids to do on their own, and they make a great quick meal.

When it comes to english muffins you’ll want a quality english muffin. Something sturdy, to hold all your ingredients, easy to find at the store, and delicious. That’s why I reach for Bay’s English Muffins. There are four varieties of Bays English Muffins: Original, Honey Wheat, Sourdough and Multi-Grain and they can be easily found in the refrigerator section, usually near the eggs and other breakfast items. English muffins are another favorite of mine. Hot, with melted butter and strawberry jam is a breakfast favorite or turning them into breakfast sandwiches, but today we’re talking lunch and dinner.

Gather your kids, gather your ingredients, and get to work! My kids eat 1 pizza each, which would be half an english muffin. You’ll want to preheat your oven to 375 and let it heat up while you and the kids make your pizzas. Get a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper or (my favorite) a silicone mat, pull your Bay’s English Muffins apart, and get your ingredients out. Pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, and toppings. Any pizza sauce will do and for toppings, go with whatever your kids love. The possibilities are ENDLESS. Mine, they love meat and pineapple.

You’ll want to spread about a tablespoon of sauce around the top of your english muffin, sprinkle some mozzarella cheese, add your toppings, and I like to sprinkle a little more cheese. Bake for about 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbling. Remove from the oven and let sit for a few minutes to cool.
